We began the business in 1998 when Kaye (the Mum) thought there just might be a need for lightweight and inexpensive scootas in Australia; what with the increasing population in our cities, petrol prices continuing to climb, out of control congestion, less than adequate public transport and most importantly, we were becoming more focused on how we could have less of an environmental footprint! It all pointed in the direction of scootas!
The business started just like all great entrepreneurial endeavours… in the back bedroom! The family pulled together and with the help of their then business partners, built slowly but surely and what a ride it’s been!
